Instinet Fixed Income Evolves Platform to Expand Client Base

TRANSACTION SYSTEMS

NEW YORK--A little over a year after the launch of Instinet Fixed Income, the division is looking to expand its customer base through enhancements to its platform.

The division, led by Peter Fenichel, has entered into an alliance with Spiritsoft to increase ease of accessibility to its platform (TTW, May 21). By employing Spiritsoft’s Java messaging service, Instinet limits the size of the footprint at a client’s site by hosting the application server in its own data centers.
