CS First Boston Debuts Proprietary 'Prime Trade' Web Service For Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income Trading

NEW YORK--After a three-year development effort, CS First Boston (CSFB), the US-based investment banking division of Switzerland's Credit Suisse Group, has kicked off a proprietary, Web-based, global electronic trading service, called Prime Trade, for fixed income and foreign exchange trading.
Prime Trade, based on Java technology from Sun Microsystems, can be used internally by the investment bank's traders to service its "core customers," explains Philippe Buhannic, a New York-based managing
