CBOT Eyeing a/c/e Alternatives

CHICAGO--The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) is evaluating potential replacements for its current a/c/e trading platform supplier Eurex, but it hasn’t crossed Eurex off its list, says CBOT spokesperson David Prosperi.
CBOT is not disclosing which vendors will be evaluated during the process, scheduled to end in early 2003, but it is not necessarily excluding the possibility of a renewal or alteration of the current contract with Eurex. The CBOT-Eurex relationship has been contentious. A dual
