ING Reorganizes Tokyo Office, Rebuilds Derivatives Operations

ING Barings' Tokyo office is beefing up its middle office risk and product control group as part of a general initiative to rebuild the bank's derivatives trading operations in Asia.

The bank has hired James Vizzini to be head of Japanese equities and derivatives trading. Vizzini previously worked at Swiss Bank Corp. in Milan. He is a veteran of O'Connor & Associates, the pioneering Chicago-based derivatives boutique that was acquired by SBC in 1992.
