Scotiabank On The Verge Of Deploying New Thin Clients From Sun Microsystems

NEW YORK--Pending the results of a six-month evaluation, the Bank of Nova Scotia is on the verge of deploying new, thin-client hardware from Sun Microsystems, dubbed the Sun Ray 1 platforms.
Over the past six months, Scotiabank has been conducting a pilot project to learn the benefits of the new hardware devices.
The IT development and technical support groups of Scotiabank have been testing about 50 new Sun Ray 1 "enterprise appliance" thin-client platforms connected to Sun Ray servers, says Gail
