Nasdaq Breathes New Life Into Optimark's Exchange Business

JERSEY CITY, N.J.--Optimark won't be going away any time soon. The troubled company, which is attempting to reinvent itself as an electronic exchange solutions provider, took a significant step toward regaining the respect and momentum it once held by cutting a long-term, multi-million dollar deal with Nasdaq.

Optimark will provide technology assistance to enhance Nasdaq's trading systems. The two firms will work together to implement Optimark's matching technology in Nasdaq's core market
