Merrill Direct Markets Go Live With FIXML For US Cash Equities

NEW YORK--Direct Markets, Merrill Lynch's Corporate and Institutional Client Group's e-commerce effort, is using FIXML for US cash equities. The solution, which is currently in production, supports trading & execution. A notable feature is real-time, asynchronous push of fills and executions to a thin browser client.
FIXML will be extended to support listed products such as warrants and convertibles within the next two quarters, says Venkat Raju a FIXML pioneer and currently Head of Architecture
