3,000 Position Capacity, Tibco Lands $17M Liffe Trading Floor Deal; Called Largest, Single Euro Trading Operation
OUTSIDE THE REGION
Palo Alto, Calif.-based Tibco will be supplying its The Information Bus (TIB) data distribution platform to the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (Liffe) in what is expected to become one of the largest, single trading operations in Europe.
In a deal valued in the millions, Liffe picked TIB for its three operational sites in London. The three sites will be the basis for the single logical site that will represent 1,600 positions in two years. The overall specification is
