New Era of Networks (Neon) and BEA Systems have agreed to unite their offerings for the sake of electronic commerce. The e-commerce suite in question is BEA's Elink software, which can now be used with Neon's Neonrules and Neonformatter middleware. BEA has licensed Neon's technology and expects to make it available in Elink by the middle of next year. BEA Elink is an out-of-the-box suite for internal and external uses that can be used for front- and back-office processes and enterprise
