NEW YORK--Prior to last week’s annual Securities Industry Association Technology Management Conference and Exhibit, there was some concern about how the chilled economic climate in the first half of this year would affect the enthusiasm, attendance and exhibitors at this year’s show. But such worries were quickly quelled when attendance figures proved to be nearly equal to last year’s with more than 8,000 attendees roaming the floor.
