EasyScreen Gets U.S. Foothold Via Savvis

CHICAGO—British exchange software provider EasyScreen is setting up a U.S. data center in Chicago, hosted by Savvis Communications, that will pave the way for remote access to major U.S. exchanges.

Based upon the Savvis Financial Xchange service, the EasyXchange facility should go live in time for the launch of Eurex U.S. (see story this page) on Feb. 1, 2004, says Philip Docker, chairman, EasyScreen, who has moved to Chicago from London to set up the facility.
