IPC to Merge Voice, Electronic Trading On IQMX Desktops

NEW YORK--IPC, a voice trading technology firm, is planning a range of new technologies in 2002, having escaped the furor of Global Crossing’s chapter 11 filing. IPC spun off from the troubled network provider late last year (TTW, Nov. 26).

New initiatives include incorporating voice recognition software into its desktop product IQMX to merge voice and electronic trading, adding other media to desktop systems and integrating customer relationship management (CRM) software with desktop voice
