Reuters: RMDS-on-Linux Boosts ROI

NEW YORK--Reuters officials last week argued that switching from existing TIB and Triarch market data distribution platforms running against proprietary Unix operating systems to the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) on Linux could yield firms as much as a 183 percent return on investment (ROI) over five years. The vendor also said Deutsche Bank is testing RMDS-on-Linux in its development labs.

The vendor also gave users a view into migrating from the existing TIB and Triarch distribution
