Merrill Lynch Takes Dovetail’s Q5 for GSTPA Connection

NEW YORK--Merrill Lynch has adopted Dovetail Systems’ Q5 Intelligent Transaction Processor for its connection to the Global Straight Through Processing Association utility’s Transaction Flow Manager.
The service will be provided to Merrill Lynch’s institutional clients as well as other broker/dealers as part of the firm’s stated goal to become a global STP concentrator, says Art Thomas, senior vice president and COO of Merrill Lynch’s securities services division.
