First Albany Replaces In-House Ticker With Beta Systems Quote Service

First Albany Corp. has begun installation of Wisconsin- based Beta System Inc.'s Betaquote service for its 300 brokers in 28 branches, abandoning its six-year-old in-house ticker plant. The ticker plant was served by a PC Quote Inc. data feed.
