One of the subjects discussed at last month’s Inside Market Data Europe, was, as always, Bloomberg. That name came up several times but most of all during the customer panel. One major question mark was around PhatPipe, partly due to users’ commonly-voiced confusion about the commercial policy.

put the question straight to Bloomberg last week. In an exclusive interview, officials say the commercial policy is clear: once a firm pays a hook-up fee—and for non-Bloomberg users, aOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
