Glocer: 3000 Xtra 'Successor' for 2009
Although the vendor has confirmed in client communiqués about its product roadmap that it will continue to support 3000 Xtra, Thomson Reuters chief executive Tom Glocer said in the vendor's second quarter earnings call last week that an "exciting successor product" for 3000 Xtra is scheduled for release next year.
The new terminal product-which has a working title of "Project Utah," according to an industry source-will run on the common technology platform that Thomson Reuters also expects to
