Thomson Reuters Enhances .X With BBO, Time and Sales

The changes, which are due to take effect on Jan. 19, 2009, will result in two derivatives of .X-.XBO and .XT-one of which will offer composite best bid and offer (BBO) data containing the most competitive quotes from competing order books, and one of which is a delayed time and sales feed of executed trades.

Under the new structure, the consolidated BBO data will be created using Level 1 data from underlying exchanges by comparing just the BBO from each market, and tagged with the .XBO suffix
