Bloomberg, Microsoft Forge Closer Partnership with New Excel Add-in
The data vendor has offered an Excel plug-in for around eight years for users who want to download data to analyze and manipulate it outside of the terminal in their own models and calculations, says Shawn Edwards, chief technology officer at Bloomberg. "More than half of our clients use Excel in a big way, so putting data and adapters into Excel is a very important part of their experience," he says.
The new add-in will be available to all clients, bundled with their Bloomberg Professional
