Institutional fund managers and hedge fund managers in Asia say they will continue to make technology a key investment area in 2008. Booming transaction volumes in the region are leading traders to implement improved and diversified electronic trading offerings such as smarter second-generation algorithms, integrated management systems and alternative trading systems (ATSes).
