PHLX to Open New Data Center

EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES

PHILADELPHIA—The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) is prepping to break ground on a new data center in the next two weeks, according to PHLX officials.

The 26,000-square-foot facility will be housed approximately five miles from the exchange's headquarters at 1900 Market St., and is expected to be up and running within 18 months, says Bill Morgan, chief information officer (CIO) at PHLX.
