Agency broker Knight Capital has introduced a smart order execution algorithm, dubbed Oasis, that is tailored to source small-cap and mid-cap liquidity. Part of the firm's EdgeTrade algorithmic suite, Oasis is designed to handle trading obstacles associated with thinly traded issues that are difficult to trade, say officials. The new algo is powered by Fan, Knight's smart order execution algorithm. Clients can access it through Knight's multi-asset class execution
