At sibling publication Waters' City#Grid conference, a panel of experts discussed the promise and the challenges of virtualization and the grid. The panel consisted of John Darlington, professor from Imperial College London; Yomi Abatan, enterprise architect at Deutsche Bank; Ryan Waite, group program manager for high-performance computing (HPC) at Microsoft; and Songnian Zhou, CEO of Platform Computing. Independent banking and technology analyst Bob Giffords moderated the panel.
