IBM Readies Market Data Platform
TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES
NEW YORK-Technology giant IBM is targeting securities trading operations with a new platform for front-office market data distribution, according to internal documents obtained by sibling newsletter Inside Market Data.
According to information in the IBM documents, the platform, dubbed WebSphere Front Office for Financial Markets, will be able to capture direct exchange feeds as well as aggregated datafeeds. The platform will then distribute the data to terminal displays or to other programs such
