Intesa Is Decalog’s First Client in Italy

MILAN--Intesa Asset Management has tapped Sungard’s Decalog to provide portfolio management, decision support, and pre- and post-trade compliance for the firm. After an internal review of a dozen or so vendors, which began in the summer of 1999, Intesa narrowed its focus to Decalog in November 1999. Its next step was to fully assess the system’s abilities. Gian Luigi Costanzo, CIO at Intesa Asset Management, says that he expects the implementation to take approximately six months.
