Tenfold Scrambles For Cash, Sells Longview to French

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

NEW YORK--Tenfold revealed on March 15 that subsidiary Argenesis had sold the Longview Group and its Longview UK subsidiary to the French firm Linedata Services. This accompanied the same-day announcement that Tenfold was closing offices in four US cities and reducing its remaining workstaff by nearly 10 percent. An independent auditor is presently examining the firm’s existing cash balance to determine if it is sufficient for the remainder of 2001.
