Instinet Completes Overhaul, Loses Gaynes, Rosenthal

NEW YORK--As Instinet’s initial public offering draws near, the global agency brokerage has re-shuffled its management structure to "increase organizational clarity," according to an internal memo to employees sent to employees last week by chief executive officer Doug Atkin.

Ken Marshall, formerly chief administrative officer, has been tapped by Atkin as Instinet’s chief operating officer, a new position for the company. Marshall will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm and
