SunGard Links eTX to FX Connect

NEW ORLEANS--SunGard Treasury Systems is linking its eTreasury eXchange (eTX) FX trading module to State Street's FX Connect trading portal, providing institutional and corporate clients access to a portal that runs 80 percent of all electronic FX bank-to-customer traffic, SunGard officials disclosed last week at the SunGard World gathering.
The move will affect about 1,400 clients, and the first transaction should be conducted within four weeks, says Graham Taylor, executive manager of eTX.
