Reuters saw total revenue in Q3 of 2005 increase by 8 percent on an actual basis to £611 million from £566 million ($1.09 billion from $1.01 billion) for the same period last year, according to Reuters officials.
However, on an underlying basis—which re moves the impact of acquisitions, disposals, and foreign exchange movements—total revenue in Q3 increased by only 1 percent. The results were revealed late last week in Reuters’ Q3 revenue statement.
