Sybase, Applix Partner for Risk Analysis
VENDOR UPDATE
NEW YORK—Sybase and Applix have teamed up to incorporate their applications in an effort to decrease financial risk for securities firms while boosting productivity.
Under a licensing agreement signed last month, Applix will incorporate Sybase's risk analytics platform (RAP) into the 64-bit version of its TM1 product. The goal is to improve real-time trade and risk analytics performance for advanced securities trading and risk management solutions, according to both companies.
