BNP Buys Into Turquoise
The announcement came while the bank's CEO Baudouin Prot spoke at the Europlace conference in Paris. However, Prot declines to reveal how much the bank paid for its stake in the platform.
The French bank joins ABN Amro, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and UBS, all of which came together to found the Project Turquoise consortium last year (DWT, Oct. 26, 2006).
