Volume On Reuters' D 2000-2 Jumps To 20,000 Trades Per Day

Reuters announced last week that average trading volume on its Dealing 2000-2 electronic foreign exchange matching service has reached 20,000 matches per day, almost double the number Reuters officials said the service had achieved in January.

Growth of deal volume on the three-year-old 2000-2 service has picked up speed -- it took one year for the volume to reach 1,000 trades a day and a further year to reach 5,000 per day, one-quarter the current daily volume.
