Layoffs Affect UBS-Perot Outsourcing Deal

LONDON and DALLAS--Perot Systems has laid off about 22 people on its UBS account. The redundancies follow a round implemented late last year, according to sources (TTW, Dec. 10). UBS and Perot are six years into an outsourcing contract in which Perot manages UBS’ IT and market data services globally.
A source familiar with the situation says the cuts affect project management staff in London, and that other cuts have been made elsewhere in Europe.
