Reuters Makes U-Turn on Single US Development Campus

LONDON--Reuters has done a U-turn on its decision to consolidate development centers in the US (TTW, March 18), deciding instead to keep most of the existing centers countrywide and to add a new one in its New York headquarters in Times Square, according to an internal memo sent by Graham Albutt, president of the business technology group, last week.

Reuters was considering consolidating its dozen-plus US software development centers as part of its long-term global strategy to reduce costs
