One Unhappy Ending: MTI Trading Systems

Not every story over the past decade has had a happy ending, and such is the case for MTI Trading Systems.
The last time we checked, the company was in deep trouble. A company with ties in the US and UK, MTI went into bankruptcy in the UK in March. During the past year, many top MTI executives have been fired, employees have been laid off and there have been several bidders for the company (April 7 and July 25, 1997, Dealing With Technology).
MTI started out as a small financial software company
