Lending Portal Adds Portfolio Auctions

LONDON—SecFinex now offers a portfolio auction system module as part of its online securities lending solution, officials say.
The flagship Internet portal service, accessed via Web browsers, allows buy- and sell-side firms—who join as SecFinex members—to lend securities electronically. The new module has enabled institutional asset manager Morley Fund Management to complete its first electronic auction of a securities portfolio, officials say.
