Industry reports of Microsoft's tardiness aside, the Beta 2 releases of Windows NT 5.0 Server, Server Enterprise Edition and Workstation 5.0 hit the streets last week. Developers will now have access via the Microsoft Developer Network program. Thousands of customers, including financial institutions, will be reviewing the beta, particularly the capabilities of NT on the server side.
