MHT Checks Global FX Trades For Fraud Using Inspector

Manufacturers Hanover Trust has lifted the lid on its Inspector global foreign exchange trader surveillance system. The bank says it is now developing a user interface to the system, which currently provides only a printout of alerts to possibly fraudulent trades.

Inspector monitors all foreign exchange trades executed by MHT dealers at the bank's 23 forex trading rooms around the world. Trade data are derived from a data-collection infrastructure set up to serve MHT's Foreign Exchange Management
