Applix IPO Prospectus Reveals Revenues, Strategies, Salaries

Since it went public late last year, Applix Inc. saw its price on the Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. rise to $15 from an initial public offering of $10 a share. Applix -- whose revenues were on pace to grow by 40 percent last year -- plans to use the $13 million plus it anticipates netting from the IPO for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including potential acquisitions.
