Although not yet a challenger on the object-oriented, middleware horizon for financial services, Rogue Wave Software recently unveiled Nouveau 1.2, and one knowledgeable industry source suggests giving Nouveau a look. Nouveau is part of the Rogue Wave Internet Architecture (RNA) component framework for building Internet-ready applications that are scalable across the enterprise. Nouveau can work with Sun Microsystems' Java as well as Microsoft's Component Object Model (Com) and Corba paradigms
