Wall Street Testing BCP Plans

RECOVERY AND CONTINUITY

NEW YORK--Wall Street firms are starting to test their business continuity planning (BCP) procedures on weekends and the occasional weekday in an effort to comply with the "best practices" that are being established by the firms themselves, say industry sources.

Earlier this spring, members of the SIA's BCP Committee Industry Testing Workgroup joined with a sub-committee from SIAC, which focuses on BCP for exchanges and industry utility providers, to create a two-phase plan for testing each firm
