Globex Partners Squabble On; Project A Is Latest Headache

The on-again, off-again -- but mostly on-again -- feud among the three Globex partners, is still boiling hot.

The Chicago Board of Trade has proposed listing its financial products on its Project A electronic trading system in the afternoon. The move is a provocative one given the fact that the other two Globex partners, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Reuters, are making a push toward seamless trading -- which would allow the market to shift directly from the pit to Globex after the close.
