NEW YORK--The Personal Real-time Object System (PROS) from Systems Programming and Network Computing (SPNC) is an object-oriented front-end display environment for real-time data. SPNC, based in New York, was founded by former employees of Effix Systemes, the original developer of Kobra for Reuters.

The SPNC package runs under Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 95, IBM's RS/6000 AIX variant of Unix, Sun Microsystems' Solaris Unix and Hewlett-Packard's HP-UX. It is offered in user mode for end users
