We've heard it all before. How Unix is seriously under threat. How Microsoft is making a serious run at the server marketplace. It happened on the desktop, why not the back end?
The short answer to that question has been: NT Server. Just can't fly. Especially in the most demanding environment on the planet (ie., ours). It's just not there yet, and no one is willing to test the new adage--Nobody Ever Got Fired for Buying Microsoft--on the server end of things.
