BNP Readies Telecom Cost Controls

LONDON—French banking giant BNP Paribas has recently signed up for software that will help it track and manage telecommunications expenses, officials tell DWT.

The application, Telecoms Expense Manager (TEM) from MDSL, will be rolled out globally starting off in New York.

The bank is planning to implement the TEM software for all of its major money centers across North America, Europe and Asia. The project to cover the group as a whole could take as long as two years to complete, says BNP global
