Hewlett-Packard (HP) has rolled out its four-way Netserver system for managers of large workgroups and data centres. The HP Netserver LH 4 system, which runs on Intel's Pentium II Xeon processor, is an upgrade from the HP Netserver LH 3 system, say HP officials. The new system offers 12 drives; an integrated RAID controller in a four-way Xeon server; support for up to four Intel Pentium II Xeon 400MHz processors; and as much as 4GB of RAM with ECC memory scrubbing.
