Word has emerged that CSK Micrognosis plans a speedier retirement of its video-switch equipment than was indicated in initial reports (D&IS, 12 February). D&IS sister publication Trading Systems Technology has learned that the vendor aims to eliminate customers' video-switch maintenance agreements as soon as possible and to declare its entire video-switch product line obsolete by the end of 1996. Micrognosis officials decline comment but vow to discuss their plans in an exclusive meeting with TS
