A new, multi-processing NT server is on the horizon from SGI, the former Silicon Graphics, which has made a splash in this market before. The new SGI 1400M server is based on Intel's 500 MHz Pentium III Xeon processor and is preloaded with the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server operating system. Among the new features is SGI's scalable, multi-processing server capabilities. The SGI 1400M server offers one to four Pentium III Xeon processors with a selection of 512KB, 1MB or 2MB of secondary cache
