Advent Sues Javelin Again

WILMINGTON, Del.--Advent Software is suing Javelin Technologies to ascertain the value of its equity holding in Javelin and investigate possible mismanagement of funds, according to documents filed in Delaware Chancery Court on Dec. 19. Advent sued Javelin earlier in 2001 on a separate matter.
"[Javelin] is rapidly burning through its remaining cash," the second Advent suit alleges. Advent owns Series A preferred stock in Javelin, which is not publicly traded.
