JP Morgan Chase Hoots & Hollers With Global Crossing

NEW YORK--JP Morgan Chase has signed up Global Crossing to connect all of its trading floors and bridge all of the company’s "hoot ‘n’ holler" broadcast systems over a private network.

The arrangement will affect 38 locations and 65 network nodes across all divisions of JP Morgan Chase, says Rich Farrell, managing director of global sales for Global Crossing Financial Networks. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The network will replace myriad vendor and proprietary point-to-point
